Day 01: Arrive

Upon arrival and passing through immigration and customs you will meet and greet by your El Mundo guide and proceed to the hotel. El Mundo driver will pick you up and proceed to the hotel.

A working farm and lodge situated on 7,000 acres of rolling hills in West Kilimanjaro with breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Maasai steps, and Mt. Meru. A family farm since 1981, we grow wheat and barley for the local Tanzanian market and seed beans for overseas export. The lodge, the ‘Old Guest House’ with five bedrooms and two country cottages is surrounded by lush gardens. All meals at the lodge are prepared with fresh vegetables from our own gardens.
Day 2: West Kilimanjaro

Day 3 : West Kilimanjaro

Time: 6-7 hours | Distance: 40 km | Altitude Gain: 800m
Hopeful you enjoyed breakfast. From the farm we will driver uphill through planted forest and potatoes fields. The road with bring you into Kilimanjaro National Park.
We will stop at the Londorosi gate for a meal/refresh and check in the park. We can start our hike from here. From here take on more steep gravel real to Shira plateau (3,550M). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park

Time: 6-7 hours | Distance: 200 km | Altitude Loss: 800m
Enjoy the crispy mountain morning as today we will descend down in the savannah. After relaxing breakfast, start Tarangire National Park
We start a late-game drive inside the Tarangire National Park. Here you will have the opportunity to see the most magnificent herds of African elephants against the backdrop of a beautiful savannah environment of majestic baobab trees, which are beautifully bare in the dry season, and lush green in the wet season. Tarangire’s spectacular natural beauty and diversity are supported by the Tarangire River, which provides water throughout the year. Wildlife here includes Giraffe, Impala, Zebra, Buffaloes, Kudu, Hyena, Baboons, Cheetah, Leopards, Lions, etc.

Later in the day drive to Tarangire National Park where we will check in Osupuko Lodge.
Enjoy a relaxing dinner, rest & overnight stay at Osupuko Tarangire Lodge.

Day 5:Tarangire National Park

We depart the lodge after breakfast. We continue exploring and enjoy the immense abundance of wildlife in their pristine environment. You have the option to go back to the camp for a hot lunch at midday.
In the evening you have the option to take a guided walk through Maasai village. Guided with local Maasai learn and how they live in the savannah.

Day 6:Tarangire National Park

Relax
Today will be a good day to relax at the lodge. You can opt to take a morning or evening guided walk or explore Maasai kraal (household)
Themed around traditionally circular African houses with conical roofs, and decorated with examples of Africa’s rich tapestry of artistic traditions by way of rich woodcarvings and sculptures, the lodge harmonizes perfectly with its dramatic surroundings. But the drama does not just stop with the great outdoors: it also flows through the split level interiors of the main building which all offer an unsurpassed generosity of space while somehow managing to combine an almost magically welcoming ambiance of both warmth and coziness.

Day 7: Ngorongoro

Today we depart early morning, ready to experience the magnificent wildlife in Tanzania’s richest game parks; Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, two of Tanzania’s most important protected areas, and world-famous national parks.
Tanzania’s prehistoric Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, has yawned heavenward for millennia. Deep within its immense walls is a breath-taking blue-green landscape dotted with plains, lakes and forests; an eerie, otherworldly “land that time forgot” thick with massive bull elephants, rhinos, wildebeests and the highest concentration of lions in Africa.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater

Our game drives allow us to follow the rhythms of the limitless wildlife as we witness the daily struggle between predators and prey. The kopjes, or massive islands of granite standing in a sea of grass, provide shelter to a great variety of animals from the elusive leopard to the tiny dik-dik.
Descend into Crater; you will be in awe of the world’s largest unbroken caldera. The Crater is home to a variety of animals that share the vast space of the caldera. Spend a day in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a habitat rich in culture and teeming with wildlife. Sometimes there are more than 30,000 animals in and around the crater, including black rhino, cheetah, lion, hyena, eland, and numerous antelope.
Day 9: Serengeti National Park

Today we venture deep into the Serengeti in safari vehicles, heading for kopje country, where dramatic granite boulders poke out of the savanna.
Check in at Nyumbani for evening sun set cocktail followed with dinner and overnight.

We have the option to start your day early in the morning depart with a packed breakfast. You can enjoy game viewing in the morning as they are most active. Return to the camp for lunch and siesta before evening game drive when the sun starts to get down and animals resume activities.

Day 11: Serengeti National Park

Our to tented camp, located in an area with a high concentration of wildlife in the midst of thousands of wildebeest during the annual migration*, or in the savanna woodlands, home to a rich variety of wildlife species, including cheetah, leopard, giraffe, buffalo, and vervet monkey. On game drives, observe the legendary creatures of the Serengeti.

Day 12 Mto wa Mbu

Culture Tour
Today you will take time to learn about the ethnic groups of Tanzania here at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Mto was Mbo invited a lot of ethnic groups of Tanzania and East Africa to one small township. Here you will take a guided walk and see different activities such as wood caving, painting, farming, etc. The walk will take you from the local bar to the restaurant where you will have your lunch.

Live the legendary atmosphere of past times on a colonial style coffee plantation farm house
Hand plaited thatched roof tops, ample verandas and colonial interiors at Ngorongoro Farm House, a small and exclusive hotel built on a 500 acre coffee plantation, all of which has been designed to take you to the comfort and style of past times. Take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens or enjoy the spectacular sunsets with the Oldeani volcano as a backcloth.
Day 13 : Arusha

Explore Arusha
On this last day of Tanzania Wildlife Safari take a time to explore the Safari Town of Arusha. Today you can opt to visit the El Mundo Safari partner orphanage; Tumaini for Africa (Hope for Africa). Here you will have time to interact with children who come from different difficult backgrounds. They always enjoy school material, if you have a space for some school material from home please bring some to share with who may be your new friend.
After lunch in town there are a few places you can visit such as The Arusha Hotel when John Wyne-Hatari! (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatari!). You can finish at the curio market, of course, you need something to bring back home!

As a guideline for tipping your guide, you can leave from 15-55 USD per traveler per day. Tipping is usually done at the end of your safari. Most lodges and camps have a tip box; you can tip the staff individually, place a tip for all the staff in the box or do both.
