As you will arriving into Jomo Kenyatta Airport , once you land and pass through immigration and Customs, ElMundo Safaris driver will be pick you up from the airport and transferred to the lodge.

Today, after breakfast, you will have the option to spend the morning relaxing at the hotel or start your day with a city tour or visit Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Explanations are also given about the broader picture of the orphans project and some of the other projects in which the trust is involved. There's also the opportunity to 'adopt' one of the elephants.

Giraffe Center
The Africa Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W.) Kenya was founded in 1979 by the late Jock Leslie-Melville, a Kenyan citizen of British descent, and his American-born wife, Betty Leslie-Melville. They began the Giraffe Centre after discovering the sad plight of the Rothschild Giraffe. A subspecies of the giraffe found only in the grasslands of East Africa.

KAZURI, which means “small and beautiful” in Swahili, began in 1975 as a tiny workshop experimenting on making handmade beads.

KAZURI started with two Kenyan women and soon discovered that there were many other women in the villages around Nairobi, most of whom were single mothers, who were in great need of regular employment. Today we take it ease, drive out of Nairobi after relaxing breakfast at the lodge. The drive will take us out of the city of Nairobi to the Maasai plains connecting with Mount Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro. After crossing Namanga border the scenic drive will start the climb to the lush green of East Africa.
Game Drive & Sun Down at Lake Naivasha
Check in at Serena Camp for lunch. After lunch and a little bit of rest depart for game drive which will finish with sun down at the hill over looking Lake Naivasha basin.

Today, after or before breakfast, will start the drive to Usambara Mountains. This drive will take you down from the Kilimanjaro highlands, across the low lands separating Kilimanjaro and the Arch Mountains.
