Start your journey with four days in upmarket Cape Town, enjoying the view of the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain. Drive around the Cape Peninsula, explore the peaks of Table Mountain, relax at the beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and Lundalo or shop and eat at the city’s prized restaurants, bars and designer stores. Allow yourself to be captured and mesmerized by the beauty and magic of the city. Then enjoy a whole day sipping and tasting wine in the beautiful Cape Winelands, wandering through infamous wine estates..
Once in Aquila Reserve, you will be driven within the Aquila where you will adventure game drive at your private lodge for some sundowners and rest. For the next two days you will spend countless moments watching feasting lions, hunting leopards, jubilant elephants, grazing buffalo and rhino as you observe their behavior in their natural habitat.

Day 1: Cape Town greetings

Welcome to South Africa. You are met by a representative and transferred by road from Cape Town to your gracious hotel, the Bay Hotel, where you can relax after your flight.
Cradled by Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Town has immense charm and historical interest with its unique cultural blend of African, European and Asian heritage. From your hotel, you are within walking distance of many eateries, pubs and beaches. You may relax at the hotel’s pool for the rest of the day, explore Camps Bay or relax at one of the Blue Flag beaches while sipping on a sundowner as the sun disappears below the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 2: Table Mountain-Robben Island

Excursions
Depart the city for the Lower Cableway Station to board the revolving cable car for a 5-minute ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting). Afterward, head to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for a leisure walk and lunch at the restaurant of your choice. After lunch take a 45-minute ferry trip across Table Bay to Robben Island. This World Heritage Site is South Africa’s most revered national monument and was once a prison for some 450 years – but more recently known for holding political prisoners being punished for resisting oppressive rule.

Day 3: Cape Peninsula Tour

Travel along the exquisite stretch of coastline towards the charming working harbor of Hout Bay. Wind along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views, before arriving at the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Meander back along the coast towards the City, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach.

Day 4: Cape Wine lands

After breakfast drive to Aquila Reserve, this reserve offers you an opportunity to view, at very close quarters, the untamed African bush and all its indigenous wildlife. After settling into your lodge, depart on an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge after sunset.

Days 6: Aquila Reserve

Start the day with morning game drive after breakfast while the bush is already alive as you head out on open safari vehicles – the air filled with birdsong as the rising sunlight dances off beads of dew on spiders’ webs. Return to the lodge where, on the optional for quad bike or horse ride. Later this afternoon, venture out in safari vehicles again.

Day 9: Aquila Reserve-Cape

After breakfast start you drive back to Cape Town. You have option to drive straight to Camp Bay to your hotel of stop at Water Front for lunch and shopping.
Later drive to Bay Hotel for check in, you can use this time to enjoy the beach.

Day 10: Departure

Home
Today is the last day of your expedition. Depend on your flight schedule.
We say goodbye and transfer you to Cape Town International Airport where you board your flight back home.
