Lower Sabie Rest Camp
Lower Sabie Rest Camp in Kruger Park is on the banks of the perennial Sabie River, which draws a wide variety of animals all year round.

A range of lodging options is available from a luxurious guesthouse to family cottages, huts, bungalows, safari tents and campsites at Lower Sabie Rest Camp in Kruger Park. Lower Sabie's accommodation caters to a variety of guest requirements and also boasts wheelchair-friendly accommodation.
An innovation at Lower Sabie has been the addition of dreamily romantic, semi-luxury 2-bedded tents, positioned so as to secure intimate privacy for each one.
Each has its own small bathroom and kitchenette, and some have the added advantage of a river view for sightseeing. Three of the tents have been adapted for use by visitors with impaired mobility at Lower Sabie Rest Camp in Kruger Park.
Visitors cannot but feel soothed by the view over the perennial Sabie River and the Lebombo Mountains beyond, which form the natural boundary and act as a highlight of the Kruger National Park. Expansive green lawns are shaded from the remorseless African sun by majestic Sycamore Fig Trees, providing the setting for a breathtaking panorama.
The Sycamore Fig Tree provides generously for the livelihood of many animals, birds and insects. Other trees in the area such as Marula, Natal Mahogany and Fever-Tree flower at different times of the year ensures that the gifts of life are extended over many months.
Large numbers of game are attracted to the abundance of water, sweet grass and foliage in the vicinity of Lower Sabie Rest Camp, giving rise to a diversity of game, almost unequaled anywhere else in the Park. The area is also rich in Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Hippopotamus, Rhino, herds of Buffalo up to 800 strong, and is known for its high density of Warthog.
Lower Sabie Rest Camp has everything you need for a successful bushveld holiday, including electric power, emergency road service, basic first aid assistance, fuel station (selling petrol and diesel), licensed restaurant, cafeteria (offering convenience food), laundromat, well-stocked shop (selling groceries, wine, beer and spirits, as well as a selection of clothing, books and curios for shopping in Kruger National Park), and picnic facilities for day visitors.
The addition of a swimming pool has proved to be a popular enjoyment of guests, especially the younger ones. Film shows on conservation and wildlife are shown on certain evenings.

- 33 x tent or caravan sites, with power point. Communal ablutions and cooking facilities. (24-hour boiling water, electric hotplates and washing up facilities) Maximum of 6 persons per site.
Huts
- 1, 2, 3 or 5-bed units (4 x 1-bed huts and 26 x multi-bed huts) with communal ablutions and communal kitchen. The units have fridges and air-conditioning but there are no cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery. A communal kitchen with scullery and electric stoves is available.
Safari Tents
- 24 x 2-bed permanent furnished canvas tents on stilts, (some accessible to wheelchairs), fully equipped, with 2 single beds, a fridge, overhead fan and small veranda. You have a choice of with or without a river view. Please confirm when booking.
Bungalows
- 58 x 2-bed units, (one accessible to wheelchairs), equipped with ablutions (most with showers, but one with a bath), fridge and with air-conditioning. There are no cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery, but a communal kitchen with scullery and electric stoves is available. You have a choice of with or without perimeter view. Please confirm when booking.
2 x 3-bed units, fully equipped with en-suite bathroom (1 with a shower and one with a bath), kitchenette, fridge and with air-conditioning.
Family Bungalows. - 2 x 5-bed units (2 separate bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and one with 3 single beds), fully equipped with a kitchenette and en-suite bathrooms. Located in budget accommodation area of camp, but with private braai area.
Guest House
- This is a large luxury unit in prime position, with river view. It is well-equipped with kitchen, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Limited channel DSTV television is provided. (No microwave oven)
- Keartland: Sleeps 6, with 3 bedrooms, (2 beds in each room)

DAY 2: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

In the morning enjoy the African morning sun with health breakfast from you guide.
Game Drive
You will have option to discuss with your driver guide the night before for today game drive. You can depart early to catch animals while they are active in early hours of the day. This is very interesting as will definitely enjoy to observe the behaviors of these creature which we know very little about.
You can return to the lodge for breakfast or lunch and rest before go on evening game drive.

DAY 3: DEPARTURE
Drive to the Nelspruit Airport for Depature Flight.
Breakfast
We will have breakfast, and this will be last day of the good times in the great Kruger so we will game drive to the exit gate and transit.
Departure
Today is the end of our safari Expedition! We believe you had great time with us, we are looking forward to host you again in the near future.
Depend on your flight time, drives to the Nelspruit airport for your departure flight.
